Dear fellow Constituents,
As I embarked upon a life of public service through elective politics, I humbly asked you for your support and to join me on a journey in making West Basseterre the best that it can be. I thank you for the support you have given me thus far, albeit with the St. Kitts & Nevis Labour Party having not yet formed a government since my entry into elective politics.
As we again prepare to go to the polls in 2022, after only 2 years since the last election, I offer myself as your choice to be the elected representative for Constituency #3 and to have the opportunity to serve you in Government for the first time.
The Good Book says “But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant” – Matthew 20:26. I consider leadership as such, service to mankind.
I offer myself as your representative because of my lifelong desire to serve my country and in particular the people of West Basseterre from Shadwell in the north to Trafalgar in the south to Palmetto Point in the west. It is my belief that true, honest, and innovative service can make a world of difference to the people of Constituency #3.
With the rich history of West Basseterre imprinted on my mind, I have a sense of purpose to, with your help, write a new and exciting chapter in the development of West Basseterre and the Nation after stellar contributions by our very own National Hero, Sir Joseph Nathaniel France. We in the West are champions but we have more trophies to capture, and I believe I can help in getting us there.
I have a plan to ensure community development in West Basseterre through the provision of opportunities in land and home ownership, infrastructural development, and the creation of the right environment for thriving small businesses, agriculture and entrepreneurship. I feel strongly about a West Basseterre that ensures health, wellness, security and care for all our people whether youth, elderly, indigent or differently abled. I will promote most vigorously, a strong agenda for the development of sports, education, and entertainment with a strong linkage to our history and culture. As an engineer, I will lead us as a community and a Nation to a Green and Digital Future. Above all, I believe that the public trust must be renewed by the assurance that government, at the community and national level, will be governed by accountability and transparency in all aspects.
I therefore present myself as the candidate for the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party. I ask for your vote when you go to the polls in 2022 to bring strong and stable representation to the people of West Basseterre. Thanks in advance for your vote and commitment to partner with me in a new Labour administration for the betterment of West Basseterre and St. Kitts and Nevis.
May God bless you, your family and our beloved Federation of St. Kitts & Nevis.
